What if my treatment isn’t working or I want to change?
Email hello@zapmed.co.za and we will route you to your prescribing doctor or our dietitian (for weight-loss support). Treatment changes always involve a clinical review — never adjust your own dose without speaking to a doctor first.

My prescription has expired — what now?
Reply to us and we will book you in for a renewal consult. Your subscription stays paused until the renewal is complete, then refills resume automatically.

When does my prescription need renewing?
Prescriptions are time-limited under SA medicines regulations. When yours is approaching renewal, we will email you with a quick follow-up consult booking link. This is shorter than the initial consult, usually a 5-minute check-in to confirm everything is going well and renew the script.

Automatic refills
While your subscription is active, your refills are issued automatically. You do not need to do anything, your repeat order will dispatch on schedule, in line with your treatment plan.
