How does Contro’s service work?

Welcome to Contro!



We know we are new here, and that's why we've set out everything you need to know about our service and how it works below. We've even made it into a video for you! If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Care Team through the blue chat box or email us.



The sign up process



To sign up on the Contro platform, either click the menu on the top right of your screen and select the "Log in / sign up" option, or follow this link: https://www.contro.co.za/signup. Here you'll be asked to enter your email address and a password. Once you've submitted your details, you will be sent a verification email.

Please check your spam folder, as sometimes Contro's emails don't get cleared by your email service provider. To avoid this in the future, add support@contro.co.za to your email's contact list.

Please click the "Verify Email Address" button and you'll be taken to a confirmation page. Now you can login into your Contro profile!

Choosing your service



Now that you have a profile with us, you will be able to request one of our services. We offer the following services:

Premature ejaculation treatment
Hair loss treatment

Once-off services


STI treatment
UTI treatment
Thrush treatment
Vaginal dryness
Erectile dysfunction treatment
Premature ejaculation treatment
Genital herpes treatment
Genital warts treatment
Cold sores
Haemorrhoids treatment

Once you're logged in, go to the services page and choose the service you are interested in. Click the "Start assessment!" button. You'll be presented with a personal details form. Here you'll be asked to enter a few important details we'll need to help get you the medication you want. On this form, you'll enter details such as your full name, gender, ID number, contact information and whether you'll be claiming your medication costs through a medical aid scheme. Following this form, you'll be asked to confirm your delivery address.

You'll then be taken to our secure online health questionnaire.

Fill in the questionnaire and submit it. You’ll be taken to the checkout screen where you will be asked to pay our service fee.

Following a successful payment, you’ll be asked to book your once-off virtual consultation with your assigned Partner Doctor at a time that suits you.

Your once-off digital consultation



The consultation will be performed by your assigned Partner Doctor over Google Meet and will last around 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, you can elect to have your consultation via a telephone call.

During your consultation, your assigned Partner Doctor will independently and professionally advise you of your options, answer any questions you may have, and if you are determined to be medically suitable, they will prescribe you the appropriate medication.

Our Partner Doctors will always take into account your opinion and consider what is best for both your body and your financial capabilities.

Delivery



Following a successful consultation with your assigned Partner Doctor, our Partner Pharmacy receives your prescription and begins to prepare your medication for delivery.

Our Partner Pharmacy will contact you directly by phone or email to confirm your personal details and delivery address if required. If you are claiming your medication costs through a medical aid scheme, they will also confirm your medical aid details and make a claim on your behalf.

Please note, if your medical aid claim is unsuccessful, our Partner Pharmacy will inform us and we will confirm with you that you are happy for us to charge your saved payment method the price of your medication. Going forward, you will be considered a 'cash' customer.

Your medication will then be packed and delivered for free to your designated delivery address within 1 -3 business days.

Subscription services



If you are on a subscription service, all you need to do is sit back and relax whilst Contro facilitates getting your medication delivered free to you every 28 days from your first delivery. There's no need to see your Partner Doctor for a repeat prescription or for you to go to the pharmacy to pick up your medication ever again!

You can cancel your subscription with us anytime with no cancellation fee.
