# Why am I getting acne or breakouts on my contraceptive?

# The good news 
Is that once you get through this period of breakouts, the acne is unlikely to return. 

_If it has been more than 12 weeks and your skin has not cleared up, please contact your assigned Partner Doctor through our Customer Care Team at doctors@zapmed.co.za, and they will do their best to find a contraceptive pill that works better for your body. _
