# What are these bumps on my face? 

Acne is a common skin condition that occurs when hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead skin cells. It often leads to the formation of pimples, whiteheads, blackheads, and sometimes deeper, painful cysts or nodules. 

Acne typically appears on the face, neck, chest, back, and shoulders, where oil glands are more prevalent. It can affect people of all ages, but it is most common during adolescence due to hormonal changes that increase oil production. 

| Acne can be influenced by factors such as genetics, hormonal fluctuations, stress, certain medications, and dietary habits.
