# What are the common symptoms of certain stomach issues?

# Stomach Conditions

_Struggling with stomach issues and not sure what you could be experiencing? Below are some of the symptoms and signs of stomach troubles which our Partner Doctors can assist you with within our GP Consult service:_

# Stomach aches:
* Abdominal pain or discomfort
* Cramping
* Bloating
* Gas
* Feeling of fullness

# Nausea:
* Feeling queasy or sick to the stomach
* Sensation of needing to vomit
* Sweating
* Dizziness
* Loss of appetite

# Vomiting:
* Forceful expulsion of stomach contents through the mouth
* Nausea preceding vomiting
* Abdominal contractions or retching
* Dehydration
* Weakness or fatigue

# Diarrhea:
* Frequent, loose, or watery bowel movements
* Urgency to have a bowel movement
* Abdominal cramps or pain
* Bloating
* Nausea or vomiting

# Constipation:
* Difficulty passing stool
* Infrequent bowel movements (less than three times a week)
* Straining during bowel movements
* Hard or lumpy stools

# Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS):
* Abdominal pain or discomfort, typically relieved by a bowel movement

* Bloating and gas
* Mucus in the stool
* Feeling of incomplete evacuation after a bowel movement

# Acid reflux:
* Heartburn, a burning sensation in the chest that often occurs after eating and may worsen when lying down or bending over
* Regurgitation of food or sour liquid
* Difficulty swallowing (dysphagia)
* Coughing or wheezing
* Chest pain, especially if it worsens when lying down or bending over
