# Here are common symptoms of bacterial vaginosis and UTIs.

**BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS SYMPTOMS**
* Thin gray, white, or green vaginal discharge
* Strong “fishy” smell (often after sex or menstruation)
* Burning sensation with urination
* Pain, itching, or burning in the vagina

**UTI SYMPTOMS**
* Strong, persistent urge to urinate
* Strong smelling urine
* Burning sensation with urination
* Passing small frequent amounts of urine
